A SYSTEM IN FORMATION FOR The Origo Studio

OBJECTIVE

The Origo Studio’s identity starts from its concept: the origin of the brand and the thinking that supports everything that comes after. Origo comes from the Latin and means origin, beginning, essence.

The Origo Studio is a creative studio, not an agency. It reveals the essence of a project and turns it into something singular, relevant and lasting. Strategy, design and narrative, in sync. An equal partnership: each founder leads one pillar.

THE SYMBOL three states.

The symbol is a system in formation: three states that record a single path.

Origin: the primordial state of the idea. Process: the beginning of the transformation. Materialization: where the idea gains presence, rhythm and identity.

Before precision, there is movement. Before identity, there is the origin. The symbol represents that instant: ideas in the process of materializing.

Origo comes from the Latin: origin, beginning, essence. Every brand starts somewhere. Before the visual. Before the strategy. Before the final form. There is an origin.

TONE OF VOICE

Minimalist, direct and intelligent. International in form, intentional in content.

WE SPEAK WITH

Clarity, precision, elegance and authority.

NEVER WITH

Exaggeration, empty promises, adjectives without argument.

Three conceptual pillars: origin, relation and transformation. When strategy, design and narrative act in sync, communication stops being only presence and becomes identity.

WORDMARK and versions.

The wordmark, “The Origo Studio.”, is drawn in Pangram Bold. The period is part of the identity: the wordmark completes what the symbol begins.

The logo is not editable, not recreatable and never replaced by text. Its proportions are fixed.

The background decides the version: a light background takes the dark version, a dark background the light one. No exceptions.

Reduced versions: the wordmark alone and the T.O.S abbreviation. ™ is used while the INPI registration is pending.

PALETTE six named colors.

A system of six colors with names of their own. Each one holds a specific position within the brand’s visual language.
Atlantis is the base; Luminé is the brand’s white. The gradients are built from these six colors.

ATLANTIS

#091333

The base. The darkest blue, almost nocturnal, that anchors the whole system.

ULTRAMARINE

#002280

Extends that depth with more saturation.

AZUREON

#2D78C3

The blue of active presence, the point of movement.

GLACIEN

#81A5D0

The blue that breathes, that opens space.

ONYX

#383838

Holds the neutral elements of contrast.

LUMINÉ

#F4F4F4

The brand’s white: not pure, not cold.

GRADIENTS from Atlantis to Luminé.

The gradients are design elements with a function of their own. They are not decorative: they are how the brand takes up space.
Built from the palette, they create fields of depth. More presence on covers and closing pages, more restraint where there is a lot of text.

TYPOGRAPHY PP Mori.

The typography is a system, not a preference. PP Mori was chosen for its precise geometry, its international neutrality and its ability to carry personality without ornament.

PP Mori is the single typographic voice: Semibold for headings, with -25 tracking, and Regular for body text and everything else.

Arial, Helvetica and system fonts do not belong to this system, in any context or application.

THE PLANS four identities.

Each of the studio’s plans has an identity of its own, signed “A plan by The Origo Studio™”: Foundation, Presence, Campaigns and Mesure, the custom plan.
Foundation structures the strategic and creative origin of a brand. Presence is its continuous creative and strategic management. Campaigns is for one-off, high-impact creative projects. Mesure brings together, in a single scope, the plans the brand’s moment calls for.

FROM ORIGIN to identity.

The studio’s core claim is sync, and sync is the one thing a website cannot state without sounding hollow. The site had to demonstrate it in the way pages are built and paced.

The reference is the International Typographic Style: grid, hierarchy and visual silence. Every screen carries one idea. One sentence, one screen: “From origin to identity.”

The visitor can switch the background between a film and a gradient generated live in the browser. Clicking a plan carries its name into the contact subject.

ON THE phone.

Built from scratch in Next.js and TypeScript, with Tailwind. Motion comes from Framer Motion and GSAP, smooth scrolling from Lenis, and the hero gradient from Three.js. Deployed on Vercel.
Phones do not get the entrance at all: it cost roughly 2.5 seconds of LCP. The phone opens straight into the hero. Portuguese and English switch instantly, with no reload.
